FieldCOM app for iPhone and iPad

FieldCOM (Field Communication) enables voice, camera, address, and GPS capture and reporting using email.
Use FieldCOM to capture voice, pictures, video and GPS coordinates (where captured) for email submission to a default email address. The App finds your current GPS location and automatically generates its coordinates and address. Optionally record start and end GPS coordinates (routes). Settings allow default email address as well as email subject line and body for embedding keywords. Keywords are used in email applications and support center applications for merging multiple submissions to a single request ID and triggering business rules.
The App was originally designed for use by Power Utility Lineman, Engineers and Utility Contractors for pole-by-pole circuit line inspections, problem reporting and power outage reporting to central service centers. It provides a general solution for any type of field reporting where voice, image, video, address and GPS coordinate capture are important.
Captures are recorded and submitted as email file attachments. Coordinates and “send from address” are recorded and sent. Routes (using Start and End point) are submitted using .kml format for use in mapping applications.
FieldCOM uses a simple user interface with large buttons. Functions are intuitive utilizing iPhone capabilities. Ability to define defaults in settings minimizes keystrokes and enables event based setup.
